Industrial Hearing Screening/ Hearing Conservation Services

Various governmental agencies including The Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA), Department of Defense (DOD), and Mine Safety and Health Administration (MSHA have mandated that all companies with employees exposed to sounds of certain intensity may be required to receive annual hearing screenings. The annual screenings over time can reveal potential patterns of loss that could be an indication of sound related damage.  This testing can be done with our services so that regulatory standards comply. In addition to annual testing, Dr. Philip is a certified Professional Supervisor (PS) through the Council for Accreditation in Occupational Hearing Conservation (CAOHC) and is able to work with individuals and organizations (industry) to strengthen and/or establish a hearing conservation program as part of an effective hearing loss prevention protocol and to keep in compliance of state and federal standards. This can include examining “problem audiograms”, identifying if a hearing impairment is work related or not, and various other occupational audiology issues.
