Hearing Testing

This is done to determine if a hearing loss is present, and if so, to detail the type, degree, and severity of the hearing loss. It will provide insight into the cause of the hearing loss as well as the appropriate treatment.

The testing is comprehensive and includes various aspects including speech. A visual picture of your ear will be done to help determine if any conditions of the ear canal are involved such as wax buildup or possible medical issue. Before testing Dr. Philip will listen to the patient and obtain holistic case history questions to get a better perspective of the patient. He will also give you an overview of what he will be doing before he starts so the patient is very transparent on what to expect. Dr. Philip encourages a third-party person to be with the patient during the testing to provide further insight on any other hearing concerns

At the end, Dr. Philip will review your results and answer any questions, provide with any information and/or referrals as needed, and begin planning for treatment, if indicated
